HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Have you made your resolutions?
I decided not to make any this year because I never keep them.
When I decided to change my lifestyle that was the resolution for the rest of my life.
I have made some positive changes and I am still working on changing some old nonproductive habits.
I started 2009 weighing in @ 169.
I have been up and down all year long.
I keep reminding myself that I didn't get this big over night and I am not going to lose all the weight over night.
I am working on stress relief and a positive attitude.
I have been having lower back pain and pain in my joints. I thought the joint pain was caused by the wheat I was eating.
However, I have not eaten wheat in a year or so...unless I have gotten it without knowing...which I could have, because wheat is in everything...I mean EVERYTHING.
To combat the pain I have started doing Yoga again... I started with Yoga for back and abs... I will be adding more Yoga after a few weeks...I understand Yoga not only helps with my physical body but it helps relieve stress and improve mental clarity.
I seem to attract people with negative attitudes who are beat up by stress and worry.
They come into my life vomit all over me... then they feel better...you know how it is when you are sick to your stomach... your mouth is filling with saliva...your stomach is heaving and after you vomit you feel a since of relief.
Well that is all good for the person vomiting but I am left to clean up the stinking foul slimy chunks of vomit they left behind.
This year is a ME Year...for over 16 years I have been taking care of everyone else and forgetting to take care of me.
Oh yeah, I am still weighing in @160 so this is good...I have 20 more pounds to lose to reach goal weight.
I am excited about 2010!
